I have a new John Green obsession. I just read Looking For Alaska, the Fault in Our Stars, and Paper Towns and literally fell in love with his writing.

Okay I have a crazy story, and I think one direction fans will especially get a kick out of it.
 
One of my camp friends lives in LA and is always meeting really cool people because her mom is pretty famous (she's the star of a pretty popular show, if you feel the desire to know what show PM me, and has been in other shows/movies too).
 
Anyhow, the other day she saw Harry Styles and got a picture with him. (I'm not a big 1D fan, but I still think that's pretty cool.)
 
And she put the picture on instagram, tumblr, and twitter.
 
She's pretty popular on all of those sites, and so that picture is now EVERYWHERE.
 
...and now apparently she's his new girlfriend.
 
Before you freak out, that's absolutely not true. But that's what so many people think now. It really was just him taking a picture with a fan, but so many people thought differently.
 
It's just so weird; I feel like we live in two different worlds. How she ended up at my camp in a small town in MA and in my bunk, I have no idea.
 
Just thought I'd share how crazy that is.
 
Also if you want to see the picture PM me, but if you have "hipster-ish" or one direction tumblr, you might have even already seen it.

Too lazy to tag everyone, so I'll just tag @luxecouture because I know you're a huge 1D fan (or at least was- I feel like we haven't talked in awhile!) and @abcdefuck because I know a few sets ago you said that tagging you on my sets makes you feel special :) haha.
 
Oh and @curious-and-young and @buds-over-studs to honor the "death" of the nwh groups. I can't find them, so I think they're all gone now? (It may be way too overdramatic to phrase it like this but...) RIP NWH.

I haven't updated in way too long. I know most of the people who used to read them (and who I'll still tag anyhow) don't even go on this site anymore.
 
But I'm going to ramble on anyhow, because old habits die hard.
 
I've been having a pretty good month, but a horrible week. I spent Monday night up all night with a migraine and all of Tuesday in the hospital on IV. I was out of school Wednesday and Thursday and I did a half day today.
 
So I'm spending this weekend recovering and making up homework.
 
Now I'm going to talk about the better parts of my life at the moment. (That sounded much more melodramatic than I intended it to be.)
 
I have the sophomore semi-formal coming up, so I just got my dress for that. I'm planning on just going with friends, because it's going to be so much more fun that way rather than being awkwardly set up with a guy I barely to talk to. Some girls are getting so upset about the same dress or not getting a date, and my friends and I just laugh. It's semi not prom.
 
I just went to a really good comedy improv group. If you ever go to NY or LA go see the Upright Citizen's Brigade. The touring part of the company came to the local college (UMASS). It was so funny and they were really talented. Improv is hard enough to do in the studio but to have to make up a show on the spot in front of a whole room of people is extremely difficult.
 
I went to the show with my acting class, which I'm really enjoying. I just got assigned a new scene and a new monologue. The scene is hilarious. It's long, so I'm not going to give you a huge, long-winded explanation. But basically, I'm getting my trousers tailored and I start a conversation with him (to give you an idea of it, my first line is "why are you like an almond". yes it's that weird) and basically we have a long, random, funny conversation. Then he blurts out "kiss me". I tell him that I don't even know him, he agrees it would be inappropriate. Then my pants fall down and we kiss. End of scene. It's so funny. Read the play "Melancholy Play" by Sarah Ruhl if you ever need a laugh (that's where the scene is from).
 
The monologue is much more serious and it will be interesting to try to work through it, since it's something I can't really relate to. At all. (a woman leaving her controlling husband) I think it will be fun.
 
On Sunday I had my last Israel Dor l' Dor meeting before the trip. 98 days!! It's actually insane. I still can't believe this is even real.
 
On a random note, I've recently become a little bit obsessed with Bar Refaeli. I think it's so cool that she's an Israeli model and HUGELY successful.
 
And I can't stop listening to Les Mis music right now. I'm more than a little obsessed with the musical/movie.
 
Well, I'm going to go to bed now and hopefully feel better in the morning.

1. Which is your favourite piece of clothing and why?
I can't decide between two. 1) My dress from my sisters' b'not mitzvah. I got it from New York and it was a major splurge ($400) but I absolutely adore it. 2) My boots. I have five different pairs, because I'm pretty obsessed. They can go with so many outfits, although my favorite is with jeans and a sweater. But yeah, I'm in a total boots phase.
 
2. If you had to migrate to another country, far away from yours, which one would it be and why?
I have so many. I'd love to travel to so many different places. I'd love to go to France or Italy for the fashion. Even though I'd never be able to afford anything, I'd love to even just look at the clothing. I also love Israel because of the culture, but it's also just such a beautiful country. I'm beyond excited for this summer. Not only do I get to go to this amazing, cultured place, but it's also my first time out of the country.
 
3. Favourite food?
Anything chocolate.
 
4. What do you spend your savings on?
Honestly, I don't really spend my money. I'm a huge saver, which will come in handy once I get my dad's car in a couple months and I'll be paying for gas.
 
5. Favourite memory from when you were a child?
I don't know of a real specific one, but most of my favorite memories have been at Pembroke (the summer camp I've always gone to). I really don't have a lot of big moments I remember from when I was really little. Only the fire, which isn't exactly happy. (That was sarcasm, it's my worst memory ever.)
 
6. List all the places you have travelled to.
Nowhere out of the country, but I go to Boston a lot, I've been to New York quite a few times, I go to Florida every February (and I've been to Disney twice), I love the Cape (Cape Cod), I've been to Maine a couple of times, Rhode Island, New Jersey, Connecticut all the time (I live right on the border of Ct and MA, but I actually live in Massachusetts), Washington DC three times, and all over MA. Probably a few other places I've forgotten, but all on the east coast.
 
7. Best birthday present you were ever given.
Either my laptop, broadway tickets, iPhone, or my diamond star of david necklace (although that was a bat mitzvah present).
 
8. Favourite band of all times?
the Script, One Republic, Coldplay, the Fray, Maroon 5, and so many more that aren't in my head right now. But it is 1:22 am, so give me a break.
 
9. Photography or movies?
How can I choose? I'm really into photography (that's what I'm taking in school right now, and it's made me really love and appreciate photography), but I've been acting since I was a little kid and I've been taking classes for seven years.
 
10. Which was your favourite tv show when you were little?

I'm so happy we have no school tomorrow! I have an insane amount of homework and I'm still getting over being sick. We're supposed to get up to two feet!! But after this I really can't have anymore snow days or I'll have to take my finals early. :p

Yay! Midterms are finally over. <3

These next two weeks are going to be insane for me, because I have midterms next week. This week is going to be every teacher cramming in everything they possibly can, and next week will be nonstop studying. So I'll try to get on, but if I do that probably means I'm procrastinating which is not a good thing. Lately it seems like I've been doing that a lot. Oh well.
